El Dr. Dustin Mullens, de Affiliated Dermatology, dice que el protector solar contiene ingredientes como di\u00f3xido de titanio y \u00f3xido de zinc. Suele ser una loci\u00f3n blanca y pastosa, y es una gran opci\u00f3n para las personas cuya piel es demasiado sensible para los protectores solares tradicionales.<\/p><p>La protecci\u00f3n solar suele ser m\u00e1s f\u00e1cil de aplicar que el protector solar. Affiliated Dermatology recomienda marcas como Neutrogena y La Roche Posay. Se recomienda un SPF de 30-50 y debe aplicarse 30 minutos antes de salir al exterior. Recuerde volver a aplicar cada 2-3 horas y el uso de alrededor de una onza de protector solar cada vez que se aplica. Una onza equivale al tama\u00f1o de un vaso de chupito.<\/p><p>El Dr. Mullens recomienda los protectores solares minerales si te preocupan algunas sustancias qu\u00edmicas que pueden estar presentes en los que no son minerales. El \u00f3xido de zinc y el di\u00f3xido de titanio ser\u00e1n las opciones m\u00e1s seguras, seg\u00fan el Dr. Mullens. Tambi\u00e9n dice que cuando se utilizan los protectores solares en aerosol, rociarlos en una habitaci\u00f3n bien ventilada y abierta por lo que no est\u00e1 inhalando los productos qu\u00edmicos adicionales. Los dermat\u00f3logos recomiendan un sombrero de ala ancha de unos 5 cm por fuera, si no vas a ponerte protector solar en las orejas con una gorra de b\u00e9isbol. Para actividades al aire libre como el golf, se pueden llevar mangas especiales que bloquean el sol debajo de las camisetas.<\/p><p>No olvides las gafas de sol. El Dr. Mullens afirma que el melanoma puede aparecer detr\u00e1s del ojo y en otros lugares inesperados. Llevar gafas de sol con protecci\u00f3n UV es una gran capa de protecci\u00f3n contra el sol. Si puedes, evita salir al exterior entre las 10 de la ma\u00f1ana y las 4 de la tarde, que es cuando los rayos solares son m\u00e1s fuertes.<\/p><p>Los dermat\u00f3logos tambi\u00e9n recomiendan no dejar la crema solar en el coche. El calor puede desactivarla e inutilizarla cuando intentes aplic\u00e1rtela. Adem\u00e1s, comprueba la fecha de caducidad en la tienda o en casa.<\/p><p>Los lunares que tienen bordes lisos, son de un solo color, son sim\u00e9tricos, tienen el tama\u00f1o de la goma de borrar de un l\u00e1piz o m\u00e1s peque\u00f1os y no cambian, se consideran lunares \"buenos\".
