Pero hoy en d\u00eda el carb\u00f3n parece tener fines m\u00e1s fogosos y saludables. No hay pasillo en el que no aparezca un producto que presuma de los beneficios del carb\u00f3n activado: pasta de dientes, mascarillas faciales, bebidas desintoxicantes e incluso helados. Pero si lo usas en la cara, es probable que no veas resultados, dice el Dr. Rais Vohra, director m\u00e9dico de la Divisi\u00f3n Fresno-Madera del Sistema de Control de Envenenamientos de California.<\/p><p>\"Se utiliza en muchos productos alimenticios y cosm\u00e9ticos\", afirma Vohra. \"Generalmente se afirma que ayuda a desintoxicar la piel o los tejidos corporales con los que entra en contacto.
