Si no tienes cuidado con tu margarita en la piscina este verano, podr\u00edas acabar con algo m\u00e1s que una simple resaca: podr\u00edas desarrollar una desagradable erupci\u00f3n cut\u00e1nea.<\/p><\/div>

<\/span>La llamada erupci\u00f3n margarita es una afecci\u00f3n cut\u00e1nea que puede producirse cuando un compuesto qu\u00edmico de las limas interact\u00faa con la luz solar.<\/p>

\"Siempre que se derrama una margarita (o simplemente zumo de lima) en la mano (...) y luego esa piel entra en contacto con la luz solar se puede desarrollar este tipo de erupci\u00f3n\".<\/p><\/blockquote>

La erupci\u00f3n puede causar cicatrices, pero es poco frecuente, seg\u00fan Newman.<\/p>

\"La erupci\u00f3n que se desarrolla es bastante pruriginosa al principio y luego puede irritarse y doler, volvi\u00e9ndose potencialmente de un rojo oscuro en la piel\", dijo.<\/p><\/blockquote>

No s\u00f3lo el zumo de lima puede causar esta afecci\u00f3n, conocida m\u00e9dicamente como fitofotodermatitis. Otros c\u00edtricos y el apio tambi\u00e9n contienen compuestos, las furanocumarinas, que no combinan bien con la luz solar.<\/p>

\"A los camareros les suele pasar, y tambi\u00e9n a las personas que recogen limas de un \u00e1rbol de su jard\u00edn o a los que se van de vacaciones de primavera y se preparan c\u00f3cteles por diversi\u00f3n\", explica Newman.<\/p><\/blockquote>

Puedes evitar la erupci\u00f3n teniendo cuidado al mezclar esas bebidas y manteni\u00e9ndote alejado de la luz solar despu\u00e9s de manipular limas.<\/p>

\"Si ya te ha salido un sarpullido y necesitas algo de alivio, basta con que te pongas un poco de crema de cortisona de venta libre\", explica Newman.<\/p>

\"\u00dasalo un par de veces al d\u00eda y sentir\u00e1s alivio\".<\/p><\/blockquote>
