There are two types of eyelid problems: loose upper and lower eyelid skin, and lower eyelid bags. We use a special device called the AgnesRF to treat eyelid bags if they are present first. This uses radiofrequency heat to melt undereye fat pads. Once the fat pads are treated we then use ablative resurfacing to tighten the eyelid skin with laser technology.
Some patients do not have bags and laser resurfacing is all that is needed.

Below are answers to some of the most common questions we get regarding non-surgical eyelid procedures.
No, it does not replace a traditional blepharoplasty.
Surgery has risks and not everyone is interested in going under the knife risking the scar, double vision, and potential eye injury. Our laser assisted non-surgical eyelid procedure is SAFE, with less risky, and can be done in the office in under 1 hour.
For the eyelids bags, you will have some swelling and bruising for 1-2 weeks. Some people have soreness that lasts up to 4 weeks. Taking arnica can help reduce bruising and soreness. If you are only having eyelid skin tightening you will have swelling and redness that is most noticeable for 1-2 days after which redness, peeling, and pink skin are evident.
