Laura Mather is a certified Physician Assistant with a strong foundation in trauma surgery, critical care, and dermatology. She earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from A.T. Still University in Mesa, Arizona, and holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Psychology from Macalester College in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
Before joining Affiliated Dermatology, Laura spent six years practicing in high-acuity trauma and critical care settings. Laura brings a deep commitment to collaborative, multidisciplinary care, with expertise in managing complex medical and surgical patients across all age groups.
In addition to her clinical practice, Laura has served as a preceptor for PA students and has been involved in the orientation of new providers. She is passionate about patient education and approaches care with empathy and a focus on clear communication.
Laura is certified by the NCCPA and licensed in the state of Arizona. She holds current certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and ATLS.
