¿Qué es un peeling químico?

Una vez finalizado el procedimiento, la piel puede estar rosada y un poco sensible al tacto durante un tiempo. Al cabo de unos días, es posible que note cierta descamación o desprendimiento de la piel, lo cual es normal en un procedimiento de exfoliación avanzada.

A pesar de la descamación y la descamación, mantén la cara hidratada y protegida del sol. Algunas personas experimentan una descamación importante, mientras que otras no tienen descamación visible. Si no experimentas descamación, tu piel sigue exfoliándose a nivel celular, lo que revelará una piel más sana.

[00:00:26] chemical peel what is that so a chemical

[00:00:28] peel is an exfoliation process that we

[00:00:30] applied to the face and it just kind of

[00:00:32] helps break down the skin so it targets

[00:00:34] different layers of the skin correct

[00:00:36] every peel address is a different a

[00:00:37] different concern and a different kind

[00:00:40] of skin issue all right so they come to

[00:00:43] see you for that consultation first and

[00:00:45] the first patient we're gonna see she I

[00:00:47] think you told me she had a very intense

[00:00:48] chemical peels she did so that those

[00:00:51] people before that picture right there

[00:00:53] is one of our deepest peels that we

[00:01:12] to seven days but normal peel sometimes

[00:01:14] you don't even peel and sometimes you

[00:01:16] can it really just depends on how your

[00:01:17] skin reacts so you want to remind folks

[00:01:18] don't be planning a wedding or anything

[00:01:21] special right before you get the

[00:01:22] chemical peel give yourself about a week

[00:01:24] right correct yeah just a little bit of

[00:01:26] downtime just to let you can air more on

[00:01:27] the safe side of not having the chance

[00:01:29] to be peeling on a special event right

[00:01:31] and you do when you wouldn't we leave

[00:01:33] your office you will give us all the

[00:01:34] things we need to do yes absolute to

[00:01:36] maintain and make sure that that skin

[00:01:38] peels off naturally and we and we're

[00:01:39] healthy yeah let's talk about some of

[00:01:41] the benefits the health benefits of a

[00:01:43] chemical peel what is it doing to the

[00:01:45] skin as far as improving it um so it

[00:01:48] really can you know change anything from

[00:01:50] fine lines wrinkles it really just

[00:01:52] breaks down the barrier of the skin it

[00:01:53] kind of helps rebuild the skin you know

[00:01:56] boost collagen and elastin kind of

[00:01:58] clears all the bacteria and just

[00:02:00] unhealthy things and that's the fine

[00:02:01] lines and wrinkles look at the

[00:02:02] difference how many chemical peels is

[00:02:04] this just one honestly that's probably

[00:02:06] about three I would say

[00:02:08] it really just varies on how your skin

[00:02:09] takes the peel it could you know I like

[00:02:11] to recommend a base of three to anybody

[00:02:14] and then we can go from there

[00:02:15] that's huge I mean that looks like

[00:02:16] surgery yeah and you said discoloration

[00:02:18] is another thing that it addresses

[00:02:19] correct yeah it really takes care of

[00:02:21] hyperpigmentation or if you even have

[00:02:24] you know hyper or hypo pigmentation so

[00:02:26] that would be brown or white spots on

[00:02:27] the skin and really just helps to

[00:02:29] correct that and balance the skin out

[00:02:30] who's a good candidate for a chemical

[00:02:32] peel

[00:02:32] you know what anybody can be a good

[00:02:34] candidate for chemical peels every time

[00:02:36] when you come in I would assess your

[00:02:37] skin and we would just kind of go over

[00:02:38] your concerns and we would just address

[00:02:40] just to make sure that you are a good

[00:02:41] candidate right because I mean we were

[00:02:43] looking at the face but you said we can

[00:02:44] also do this on the body this is for

[00:02:46] acne yes that is for acne and a little

[00:02:48] bit of hyperpigmentation really you know

[00:02:52] you just take you know each section of

[00:02:53] the body and you just address it and

[00:02:55] then you can apply a peel and it really

[00:02:56] just helps target all areas what about

[00:02:58] ethnicity does that matter

[00:02:59] that doesn't as long as you as long as

[00:03:01] we are more on the safe side we can

[00:03:03] always peel your skin right and

[00:03:06] depending on the condition of your skin

[00:03:07] you said and that of course you will

[00:03:08] assess that during the consultation yeah

[00:03:10] will depend on the type of chemical peel

[00:03:13] because we're gonna look at the first

[00:03:14] one which is our rejuvenizer IPS yes yes

[00:03:21] depending on your skin type and you're
