Your face is indeed one of the first features anybody will notice, but if you’ve dealt with conditions such as acne, psoriasis, or eczema, you might be more prone to self-consciousness than confidence. You certainly aren’t alone—as many as 50 million people in the U.S. have acne, and millions of others suffer from other skin conditions. Read on to learn how Tolleson, AZ dermatology can help you take control of your skin care, explore treatment options, and achieve the healthy skin you’ve always wanted.

Benefits of Seeing a Dermatologist

There are plenty of reasons why you may need to see a dermatologist — acne, psoriasis, and dermatitis are just a few of the most common conditions. There are plenty of other reasons why you might benefit from dermatological care, though, including cosmetic care options that can address aesthetic concerns. Some of the skin conditions we offer medical treatments for include:

  • Acne
  • Melasma
  • Eczema
  • Psoriasis
  • Rosacea
  • Mole removal and diagnosis
  • Skin discoloration and hyperpigmentation
  • Skin cancer diagnosis and treatment
  • Actinic keratosis
  • Wart removal
  • Rash Diagnosis

Melasma Treatment

Melasma presents with brown patches on the cheeks, bridge of the nose, forehead and upper lip.

In addition to medical treatments, we offer the following options for cosmetic care:

  • Therapeutic face masks
  • Injectables, including filler
  • Dermaplaning
  • Chemical peels
  • Laser hair removal
  • Medical-grade facials
  • PRP hair rejuvenation

If you’re unsure of what kind of treatment would be of the most benefit, you can schedule a consultation with one of our providers for more information. We can help you develop a treatment plan and skin care routine that will help your skin become the healthiest it’s ever been.

You Might Benefit From Dermatology If…

Dermatology offers patients a wide range of benefits, but who’s the most likely to benefit from dermatology? In addition to any person who has a common skin condition, anybody who’s interested in simply improving their skin’s appearance can also benefit. Your body will decrease its production of collagen around the time you turn 25. Though it typically takes a few years for signs of aging to become apparent, anti-aging efforts are more effective the earlier they begin — and a dermatologist can help you develop a treatment plan that’s specially designed to keep your skin in great shape.

The following age groups can benefit from dermatology for the following reasons:

  • Teenagers: The vast majority of teens experience acne, and it can cause confidence issues if it’s not addressed. A dermatologist will have solutions that can help.
  • Adults: As you reach adulthood in your 20s, 30s, and 40s, skin conditions may appear, or you may wish to invest in anti-aging.
  • Seniors: Those who are 55+ are at an increased risk of skin cancer. Connect with a dermatologist to ensure you don’t have melanoma or any other age-related skin concerns.

Any of these age groups can benefit from Tempe, AZ dermatology!
