Microneedling

Microneedling is a revolutionary solution to skincare that utilizes collagen induction therapy and enables the skin to regenerate itself to cause dramatic improvements in skin tone and texture. Microneedling is a minimally invasive skin rejuvenation procedure that minimizes pores, reduces fine lines, wrinkles and stretch marks, improves the appearance of acne scars, evens skin tone, and brings back the glow for fresher, younger-looking skin.

Microneedling with SkinPen rapidly creates a pattern of micro-channels in the treatment area. These micro-channels significantly increase the production of collagen and elastin to leave the skin smoother, fresher, and more uniform. With microneedling, you can treat:

  • Fine Lines
  • Texture Improvement
  • Acne Scars
  • Photo-Aging
  • Facial Scar Revision
  • Stretch Marks
  • Body Scar Revisions
  • Enlarged Pores
  • Lip Lines

Micro-channels also enhance the skin’s ability to absorb medical grade topicals, like anti-aging serums and skin lighteners, when applied during or immediately after the treatment.

Microneedling + PRP

Microneedling with PRP (also referred to as a Vampire Facial) is a procedure that uses the SkinPen and Platelet-Rich Plasma, or PRP. We obtain PRP by drawing a small amount of blood from your arm into a sterile tube. This sample is centrifuged to separate your plasma, which we use for the treatment, from your red and white blood cells.

Plasma contains a high concentration of platelets, stem cells and growth factors. Platelets help your tissue heal and grow new cells. When PRP is used with microneedling, it penetrates your skin through the tiny channels the microneedles create and supercharges the benefits.

About SkinPen

SkinPen, the most advanced medical-grade automated microneedling device on the market, is the first FDA-cleared microneedling device. SkinPen creates controlled micro-injuries to stimulate the body’s natural wound-healing process while minimizing cellular damage. The result is effective remodeling of scar tissue while keeping the overall structure of the skin intact.

There are three phases to the wound repair process:

  • Phase I: Inflammation. Piercing the skin triggers your immune system to disinfect the wounds, remove debris, increase blood flow and begin to create new tissue.
  • Phase II: Proliferation. The wound is re-built with new granulation cells, which are part of the extracellular matrix. Additionally, a new network of blood vessels develops.
  • Phase III: Remodeling. The wound is replaced with new dermal tissues and blood vessels.
Best of all, SkinPen works. Ninety percent of subjects in the clinical trial would recommend the procedure to family and friends.
